Upcoming State Testing
All Hacienda La Puente Unified School District students should use a district-issued laptop when taking the upcoming California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC). Your child's school site will reach out to you with the device pick-up schedule and instructions.
For instructions on how to download a secured testing browser on a personal device (Mac/Windows), how to access your student's Statewide Student Identifier (SSID) that will be needed prior to the start of testing, and additional testing resources, please click the button below.

About Us
Los Altos Elementary services over 475 students daily in a Kindergarten through Fifth grade program. Our school site features a traditional program along with a Spanish Dual Immersion strand on campus (K-2 currently). Most of our families have chosen to be part of the Tiger Family with over 65 percent of our students coming from beyond our attendance area.
In addition, our school is school-wide Title 1 and has received California Distinguished School honors three times and the Title 1 High Achieving Award in 2013. Our strong community and sense of pride makes Los Altos a true family.
We welcome you to our school. Bienvenidos a nuestras familia.
