TELA

The Year of Dance

With our already strong Azteca school day program and after school Ballet Folklorico, we continue to build dance as part of our understanding into expression, language, and well-being.  Our teachers will be focused through the TELA grant on integrating Dance throughout the day including activities such as mirror dancing and roll call dance to engage students.  We will also be focusing in grade 5 on dance as weekly engagement including Danza lessons and performance along with Conga Kids

Dance is an important part of our school. For more research on the importance of Dance, please visit here. Also to engage in dance and the effects it can have on you, please visit the Dance Psychologist
