SEL (SOcio-Emotional Growth Curriculum)

New materials are in the process of being adopted. Currently, teachers use Second Steps and additional supports provided by the district.

TELA/VAPA Integration

Our students engage in Art experiences throughout the instructional day. This includes exposure to cultural from Latin America and the Spanish speaking world along with global and social impact concerns related to our work with TELA (Teaching English Learners through the Arts) grant and NPDL (New Pedagogies for Deep Learning).

If your child is struggling, we do offer ways to assist children both academically and emotionally.   We use intervention protocols to identify, support, and evaluate student success in our programs. Students are screened throughout the year by teachers and staff for behavior and academics.

Social Studies and Science

Social Studies and Science is integrated within the school day.  We implement Impact/Impacto from McGraw-Hill.  NGSS adoption process currently in process.
